Spider-Warrior burst upon the scene with no apparent backstory, but it was revealed in Darkwing 25 that she looks like Supernova when her mask is removed, because she was a failed experiment by the Seventh Sanctum, who have been sending villains to try to capture her since she donned her Spider-Warrior costume. She has tasted freedom, and she will fight to the death to maintain her freedom and the freedom of others!
