Wondra’s alter ego, journalist Diana Pryce, has tracked down the Red Ribbon Strangler to what she believes is his hidden lair. Unfortunately, he attacks her before she can change to her Amazonian persona, then injects her with a slow-acting poison, using the time left of her life to beat and strangle her. Diana is finally able to break free long enough to transform into Wondra, but the poison is still in her system, and RRS now has the opportunity to strangle the powerful Wondra. In the Peril version, Wondra defeats RRS. In the Extreme version, the strangle becomes fatal, and to make sure, he cracks her neck three times, then picks her up in a cradle carry and then throws her over his shoulder to carry her away.
